Yoga studio heating system

The technology used in the StarPro series is a culmination of Brivis’s 50 years of heating experience during which the StarPro series external has won  four Galaxy awards.. The StarPro features ensure that the heaters are far more effective at heating the yoga studio, with the least amount of energy, environmental damage and expense. Every stage of the StarPro’s operation has been thought about and designed to make it more reliable and healthy for you.

All StarPro heaters have a Hot Surface Ignition system to start the heater. This ensures no gas is wasted on a pilot light. Two confirmation rods on either side of the burner send a signal to confirm that there is ignition across the whole burner. This is an important safety feature which other heaters don’t have, preventing any gas or fumes from entering the air ducts. The gas then comes on fully and the circulation fan starts up slowly at its lowest level. This ensures that the start up of the fan is extremely quiet and that the air is warm before it flows into the yoga studio.

The StarPro units have a unique secondary heat exchanger which captures and uses the heat which is normally expelled from the unit into the environment. This means that every last bit of warmth generated by the burners is used to heat the yoga studio rather than being wasted.

The StarPro series have very advanced Energy Management Systems. The system monitors the air temperature in the yoga studio and adjusts it’s heat output accordingly. The second great energy advance is the ability of the StarPro to reduce the heater output by up to 60%. This means that the heater detects how many outlets are currently operating and reduces the energy requirements automatically.

Once the temperature inside the yoga studio reaches the preset temperature, the burners inside the heating unit will turn off. The fan then gradually slows down ensuring that all the remaining heat inside the unit is used to heat the yoga studio.
